Maturity

Since humans are pack animals, the best, and most comprehensive, way to measure an individual’s maturity is by how old they feel in the presence of their parents.

An immature person cannot control their behavior. Under normal circumstances, the greatest reactive pressure is put on people by their parents. Thus, a mature person can interact, socially and professionally, with their parents and in the presence of their parents, without losing control of their behavior, personality, or character.
