Citizenship and Elections

Every person who is born in the country is a citizen. And, every person who pays into Social Security and taxes for ten years is a citizen.

Every citizen 18 years and older is eligible to become an Active Voter. However, to be an Active Voter they must satisfy two requirements:

  1. They must fulfil all civic responsibilities; such as paying taxes, keeping records and licenses up to date, and Jury Duty.
  2. And, they must attend at least 16 local town meetings per year.
